ABOUT ME
I’m a British-born composer, raised on a council estate and now based in Los Angeles. I understand grit, struggle, and nuance on a deeply personal level, which gives my music authenticity, urgency, and emotional weight. When you’re telling stories that are raw, complex, and deeply human, it helps to work with someone who understands those layers from real life, and who is driven by a genuine connection to emotion and story.
I’m shaped by a love for both the intensity and heaviness of metal and hardcore with the stark beauty and emotional pull of minimalism. My music lives where those worlds collide. I’m drawn to that tension: distortion and fragility, power and vulnerability.
I came up through the UK’s underground music scene—touring, recording, and earning recognition from the music press—before shifting into scoring for film and TV.
Since moving to LA in 2015, I’ve worked on projects like the Netflix documentary It Ain’t Over, collaborated with Terrifier composer Paul Wiley, and written EFL League Two Cheltenham Town’s official walk-out anthem, March of the Robins.
In 2025, I released a solo EP, and an album with longtime collaborator Chris Taylor as Farewell Sons.
At the core of everything I do is a desire to connect—through sound, story, and shared emotion.
